  1. What is an electric bike?

An electric bike is a new type of bikes that can add power to your pedal power, enabling you to enjoy more advanced functions with simply a bicycle.


  1. What is the difference between an electric bike and a conventional bike?

Generally speaking, an electric bike can ride faster than a conventional bike. You may be surprised to see how quickly you can reach even when it is compared to a car. You can avoid traffic jams by getting through bike routes with an eBike. Also, you can always keep a higher average speed than a conventional bike wherever you ride.

  1. How fast can you go on an E-Bike?

In Europe, an E-bike must have a motor with a maximum power of 250W, reaching its maximum speed up to 25 km/h. In the US, the regulations are quite different. There, E-bike motors can have a max of 500W and assist up to 20MPH (32km/ph)

in the U.S., we can offer you assists up to 20 mph. Some speed pedelecs can even help to reach up to 28 mph, but a certain amount of the pedal power is required to get such a speed.


  1. Can an eBike go faster than the motorcan support? 

Yes, sure. It can go as fast as you can pedal, but be very careful that the motor would stop supporting the bike if you have reached the max speed.

With an E-bike, we would suggest that you’d better have the power to reach a speed that can be best suitable for your way of riding.


  1. Why should I ride electric bikes?


An electric bike means a lot for those who need an advanced bike. Some use it as a vital tool for commuting. While some enjoy the ride itself with a bike to go where they can go. 

On the other extreme, there are also hard-core mountain bikers, who would use it to beat uplifts. With an eBike, you get to do everything you would like to.


  1. What can electric bikes be usedfor?
  • Commuting yourself to work;
  • Going to post office, school, shopping, groceries, etc.
  • Exploring new parts of the city, countryside, forest, or beach;
  • Riding your bike to anywhere you would like to go;
  • Riding for delivery uses, like postal services.


  1. How far can they go?

They usually have a speed range of 20-30 miles, and it depends on the riding conditions. A small tip: you’d better charge your battery at work. This would be helpful to increase your daily range.

  1. Where can I ride an electric bike?


Just treat an electric bike just the same as a conventional one. You can ride it anywhere you can go.


  1. Do I need a license to ride an electric bike on the road?

Not at all. Just treat an electric bike just the same as a conventional one. You only need a license if you ever exceed the specified specification of law. In most cases, you do not need a bike license for using your bike at all.


  1. How much power does it have? 

In the U.S., an electric bike will range from 250 watts to 750 watts.


  1. How long does it take to charge the battery?

It will be fully charged from 0 at least in 3 hours, depending on the battery size. All of our electric bikes use lithium-ion battery packs. These packs recharge very quickly. In most cases, a 400Wh pack will take about 3.5 hours to recharge 100%.


  1. How much does it cost to charge the battery?

In general, it will cost $0.03 to $0.10 to charge an electric bike battery pack. This will depend on what your electricity supplier charges.


  1. How should I look after my battery?


In general, as long as you don't leave your battery completely empty for a long time, and you only have to top the battery up after each ride. 


  1. Can I charge the battery by pedaling?

Some electric bikes can do this. But the point is that it requires a significant amount of your pedal power. Some have regenerative braking that will charge the battery as you are braking, which is quite similar to the way the electric cars can do.


  1. Throttle or Pedal Assist, Which is Best?

Basically, it depends on your riding preference. Some people like the throttle, because it allows them to cruise along with or without pedaling. The pedal adds assist as soon as you start pedaling and people who are used to riding conventional bikes tend to prefer this system. Many eBikes have both assists, so you may not have to make a choice. If you have to do this, then make sure you spend a substantial amount of time of riding to determine what suits you best.

  1. How much do they cost?


Electric bikes range in price from $500 to $10,000+ but the average price range for quality electric bikes is $1,200 to $3,500.


  1. Does it matter if the electronics get wet?


In general, they are all designed as weatherproof for various circumstances. Therefore,

Your bike is able to handle this without any problems. Just in case, remember that try not to completely submerge your eBike. And it’s better to your bike dry off before turning back on and returning to the trail. 


  1. Can I get any exercise on an electric bike?

Yes. You can decide how much exercise you want to get by adjusting the power assist level on the bike.

  1. How much do they weigh?

Generally, electric bikes range from 45 pounds to 60 pounds. Of course, there are the exceptions on both sides of that range.

  1. I like my current bike, can I add electric assist to it?

Definitely! There are many electric bike kits on the market that can add electric assist to your current bike. This can be an economical way to test the “eBike waters” before you dive in and buy a whole new eBike.

  1. Can I try the bike before I buy?

Yes. Normally you can visit us in advance, so we can talk to you about your riding requirements and offer expert advice, such as on which model to select by yourself. We also give you the great opportunity to ride certain bikes so you can get a good feeling for one of them prior to purchase. 


If you like the bike that you tried, you will have the option to take it away there, and then with any accessories fitted and as well as a fitting session on the bike itself. We may ask you to go for a short ride on the bike, just to make sure that you are satisfied with the setup and also able to answer any operational questions you may have. 

  1. How do I know what size to purchase?

Electric bikes come in many shapes and sizes. It is very significant for you to select a correct-size bike. We offer bikes in various sizes to suit different tastes and needs.

  1. What warranty do you offer on your bikes?

All of our electric bikes come with the best warranty possible. We offer 5 years on the frame, 1 year on all of the components & 2 years on the whole electrical system. All of our warranty work can be carried out in-house. It means we can resolve this for you as opposed to passing you on to a third party. Our aim is to offer you a great riding experience, so it's in our interest to get any minor issues resolved quickly for you.


  1. How often should I have my electric bike serviced


Just treat an electric bike just the same as a conventional one. Just because it is electric-assisted doesn't necessarily mean that it requires more frequent servicing. In most cases, an annual service is enough, no matter how you use their bikes frequently or how extreme the environment is.
